Punjab Tourism collaborates with NFDC on new film tourism policies



The department of Punjab Tourism is drafting a new film tourism policy in collaboration National Film Development Corporation (NFDC).

Anmol Nidhi, Deputy Manager, Marketing, Punjab Heritage and Tourism Promotion Board, elaborating on the policy said once its drafted, they will be opting for a single window clearance which will enable producers to shoot their films without any hurdles in Punjab.

Once it’s done, Bollywood, as well as Pollywood filmmakers, will be able to get permits approved from one place.

With new initiatives like Amritsar Heritage Village, Amritsar City hop on hop off buses, recently opened War Museum and Partition Museum based on the story of partition in 1947, Punjab Tourism is on the verge of a total revamp.
