Karnataka Minister for Higher Education and Tourism R.V. Deshpande flagged off Hop-on, Hop-off (HOHO) buses on the Mysore Palace premises recently. A?These buses are to be operated by the Karnataka State Road Transport Corporation (KSRTC) and will cover 16 tourist destinations. Some of them are Jaganmohan Palace, Mysore Palace, Ganapathi Sachchidananda Ashram, Uttanahalli Temple, Chamundeshwari Temple atop Chamundi Hills, and Dasara exhibition grounds.

The buses will be available every 15 minutes from the city bus-stand and tourists can buy daily pass silver costs Rs. 60 (regular buses) and gold costs Rs. 100 (air-conditioned Volvo buses).
