An ambitious plan to raise infrastructure in Navi Mumbai at a cost of Rs 12,822 crore has been presented before the District Planning Development Council (DPDC) by the District Guardian Minister Ganesh Naik.

“The total expenditure for the project is expected to be around Rs 12821.50 crore, of which the Navi Mumbai Corporation will contribute Rs 3,733 crore and Rs 4,093 crore will come by way of grants from MMRDA, JNNURMand deffered payments,” Naik said.

Also, it has been decided that an amount of Rs 4,995.50 crore will be raised through soft loans from national and international financial institutions.
