TheA?Delhi governmentA?recently proposed INR 3,106 crore for housing and urban development in its 2018-19 Budget.

The Budget was presented by Manish Sisodia, Deputy CM, Delhi. canada medicine synthroid.

According to the budget, the allocation for both housing and urban development is 6A?% of the total budget of INR 53,000 crore, which theA?AAP governmentA?projected as “green budget”.

For the housing sector, theA?AAP governmentA?has set aside INR 165.44 crore, as against INR 271 crore in 2017-18.

However, the government has increased fund for urban development with the allocation of around INR 2,782 crore, which was INR 2,396 crore in the 2017-18 financial year.

With an increase of INR 386 crore, it means the city administration will carry out more urban development works in comparison to last year.

For development works in unauthorised colonies, INR 1,500 crore has also been earmarked.

Lauding the budget proposals,A?Arvind Kejriwal, Chief MinisterA?laid emphasis on improving the environment, health, education, water, sewer andA?road infrastructureA?in the city.

He said this is the first “green budget”, under which 26 specific actionable points have been mentioned to reduce pollution levels in the national capital, and the government has also fixed a timeline for every project the progress of which will be reviewed by theA?chief secretaryA?every week.
